Heavy Highway Construction Laborer

Karvo Companies, Inc. is seeking motivated and hardworking Heavy Highway Laborers to join our growing team. We specialize in heavy highway, asphalt paving, concrete, and infrastructure construction throughout Northeast Ohio.

Position Summary

The Heavy Highway Laborer supports crews on road, bridge, and site development projects. This position performs a variety of physical tasks and assists skilled operators and tradespeople in completing high-quality infrastructure work.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with roadway, concrete, asphalt, and utility work

• Perform manual labor including shoveling, raking, grading, and cleanup

• Support equipment operators and skilled trades

• Load and unload materials and tools

• Maintain a clean and safe job site

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous construction or heavy highway experience preferred (not required)

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

• Reliable transportation

• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
