Karvo Companies is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Superintendent to lead field operations on heavy civil construction projects throughout Northeast Ohio. If you're a hands-on leader with experience managing underground utility installations and leading crews safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily field operations for underground utility projects, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, and related site work.
• Lead and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on every job site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners to ensure quality work and successful project delivery.
• Plan daily work activities, manage production, and solve field challenges as they arise.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising underground utility construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, excavation, and grading operations.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors.
• OSHA and safety knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Prior experience should include supervising projects for owners such as ODOT, Cities or Counties
